Envoy: Pakistan, Azerbaijan to continue to support each other internationally

Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee has said that the two countries will continue to support each other on international platforms.

He made the remarks as part of the event to mark Pakistan Day in Baku, Report informs.

The ambassador stressed that Azerbaijan and Pakistan have fraternal relations.

He also thanked Azerbaijan for supporting Pakistan on various international platforms.

"Our fraternal countries have always supported and will support each other in the international arena," the ambassador added.

During the event, the ambassador raised the country's flag to the national anthem of Pakistan.

"Today is very important for our country, it is the day of unification of Pakistanis. On March 23, 1956, we gained sovereignty, and every year we celebrate this day with deep respect," Bilal Hayee

said.
