ICAO European, North Atlantic Bureau Director visits Baku

Director of the European/North Atlantic Bureau of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Nicholas Rallo arrived in Baku with an official visit on June 6.

According to Report, during a meeting with the State Civil Aviation Agency staff under Azerbaijan’s Digital Development and Transport Ministry, Rallo touched upon topical issues in this sphere. He offered closer cooperation with the organisation as part of preparations for the ICAO audit of aviation security, which will be held in October this year in Azerbaijan.

In turn, the agency's management informed the head of the ICAO Bureau of the current situation and plans in the field of civil aviation in Azerbaijan.

Then Rallo held meetings with the leadership of CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines and Silk Way Holding LLC.

The guest was provided with detailed information on purchasing new aircraft and plans for further development. Rallo also got acquainted with the activities of the "Silk Way Technics" enterprise.
