Azerbaijani president: "Withdrawal process of illegal Armenian formations has begun"

The process of the illegal Armenian armed formations' withdrawal from their positions has already begun.

According to AZERTAC, President Ilham Aliyev confirmed this in his address to the people on September 20.

The head of state noted that, having accepted our conditions, they also began to surrender their weapons. "The question is: who benefited from having led the situation into such a state? After all, we have repeatedly addressed the leadership of Armenia, their patrons abroad and other parties immediately after the Second Garabagh War, expressing our legitimate concern and saying that the presence of the armed forces of Armenia on Azerbaijani territory is illegal and that an end has to be put to it. We have said that the illegal regime of the junta should fold its so-called 'flag', which is nothing more than a piece of cloth, put it in its pocket and leave our lands. This is our sovereign right", the Azerbaijani president stressed.
