Azerbaijan's parliament approves draft law on establishment of Aghdara district

A draft law "On the establishment of the Aghdara district of the Republic of Azerbaijan" was submitted for discussion at a plenary session of the Milli Majlis (Parliament).

According to the bill, the newly created district will include the following settlements, Trend reports:

- Bash Guneypaya village within the administrative-territorial unit of Bash Guneypaya village of Aghdam district, Khatinbayli village within the administrative-territorial unit of Khatinbayli village, Malikli and Gazanchi villages within the administrative-territorial unit of Malikli village, Orta Guneypaya village within the administrative-territorial unit of Orta Guneypaya village, Sirkhavand, Ballıgaya, Bashirlar and Garashlar villages within the administrative-territorial unit of Sirkhavand village, Yeni Garalar village within the administrative-territorial unit of Yeni Garalar village;

-Aghdara town within the administrative-territorial unit of Aghdara town of Tartar district, Aghabayli village within the administrative-territorial unit of Aghabayli village, Janyatag and Gulyatag villages within the administrative-territorial unit of Janyatag village, Chardagli village, Lulasaz and Megralalay villages within the administrative-territorial unit of Chardagli village, Hasangaya, Chilaburt, Goyarkh and Maralyansarov villages within the administrative-territorial unit of Chayli village, Kichik Garabay village within the administrative-territorial unit of Kichik Garabay, Giziloba, Seysulan and Yarymja villages within the administrative-territorial unit of Giziloba, Ashaghi Ortatagh, Gasapet and Damirli villages within the administrative-territorial unit of Ashaghi Ortatagh, Shikharkh settlement within the administrative-territorial unit of Shikharkh settlement, Talish village within the administrative-territorial unit of Talish village, Ulu Garabay village within the administrative-territorial unit of Ulu Garabay village, Umudlu and Zaylik villages within the administrative-territorial unit of Umudlu village;

Following the discussion, the draft law was put to vote and approved.
