Kremlin confirms heightened security measures for President Putin

The security of Russian President Vladimir Putin has been elevated to an appropriate level.

Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov made this statement in response to queries about whether Putin's security had been intensified following the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media sources.

"Security is already strengthened for obvious reasons, regardless of the incidents mentioned. The president's security is ensured properly," Peskov stated.

"Everything that needs to be done is being done, taking into account international escalation and tension."
