6-year-old child injured in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia amid Russian assault

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 448 attacks across 34 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukraine, leaving a 6-year-old child wounded in a strike, regional administration head Ivan Fedorov announced on Telegram.

The strikes consisted of 20 air raids, 218 FPV drone operations, four rocket launcher attacks, and 206 artillery shellings.

Authorities recorded 89 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.

Earlier, Ukraine’s parliament passed a law allowing the forced evacuation of children from active combat zones without parental consent.
