Azerbaijan publishes new book on geography of Karabakh, Eastern Zangazur

Azerbaijan’s Institute of Geography named after Academician Hasan Aliyev has published the book entitled "Geography of Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur: natural and geographical conditions and the potential for social and economic development".
Editor-in-chief is Director General of the Institute, Doctor of Geography Zakir Eminov, scientific editors are Doctors of Philosophy in Geography, associate professors Mirnukh Ismayilov and Zaur Imrani, the Institute told APA.
The monograph consists of 10 chapters, and is the scientific, fundamental and applied work, highlighting the impact of the geographical location of Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, which are the historical and geographical part of Azerbaijan, on natural conditions, social and economic development, modern physical, economic, geographical problems, as well as history and toponymy of these places.
