A 5.4 magnitude earthquake struck Japan's capital region on May 29.
The epicentre was in the Ibaraki prefecture neighbouring Tokyo, and the focus was at a depth of 50 km, TASS reports, citing the country's national meteorological department
No casualties or damage were reported. A tsunami warning was issued but was lifted a few minutes after the earthquake.
