Another Azerbaijani killed in Russia-Ukraine conflict PHOTO

An Azerbaijani national has been killed in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Afgan Orujov, a resident of Hostomel, died on August 19 during clashes in Ukraine’s Sumy region, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Orujov was serving in a territorial defence battalion as a drone operator at the time of his death.
Since Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022, numerous ethnic Azerbaijanis have been reported killed in the conflict, primarily fighting on the side of Ukraine. Over 130 Azerbaijanis were reportedly killed, approximately 100 were injured, and about 70 were missing since the war’s onset.
