Arab League chief denounces Iranian strikes on Qatar gas facility

Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit has condemned what he called a “flagrant” Iranian assault on a key gas facility located in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar.

He further criticised the Iranian strikes on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates that took place on March 18, cautioning against the “dangerous escalation” that comes from targeting oil and gas infrastructure in the Gulf region, Caliber.Az reports per American media.

The Arab League head reaffirmed his unwavering support for Gulf countries in “all measures they undertake to confront these malicious Iranian attacks, and their right to safeguard the security of their citizens and the integrity of their facilities.”
