Armenian national security chief declines to comment on "fifth column" claims

Director of the National Security Service of Armenia Armen Abazyan refuses to comment on the presence of a "fifth column" in the Armenian army.

On March 15 in the parliament, media representatives tried to learn the opinion of Abazyan on this issue, but he categorically refused to comment, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.

On March 14, at a press conference in Yerevan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the 44-day war with Azerbaijan was lost by Armenia because of "the 5th column that infiltrated in the Armenian army."
