Armenian PM, French president discuss regional security, economic ties Details
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and French President Emmanuel Macron met at the Élysée Palace in Paris, where they held detailed discussions on a range of topics aimed at deepening Armenia–France relations. The discussions focused on cooperation in key areas, including the economy, infrastructure, and regional security.
Both Pashinyan and Macron underscored the strategic importance of their bilateral ties, affirming their commitment to advancing cooperation, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.
They also touched on regional issues, with President Macron once again congratulating Pashinyan on establishing peace with Azerbaijan and reiterating France’s unwavering support for Armenia’s territorial sovereignty and the peace process.
The two leaders exchanged views on the TRIPP project, which aims to improve regional connectivity, as well as the progress of efforts to unblock vital transportation routes.
In addition, they discussed ways to further enhance Armenia’s partnership with the European Union under the new Armenia–EU agenda, emphasising the need for continued and steady growth in this area.
