ASTRA: Oil depot in Russia’s Stavropol region hit again, fire breaks out PHOTO / VIDEO
An oil depot in the Vyazniki settlement of Russia’s Stavropol region has come under attack again and is on fire, according to statements by the regional governor and reports from local residents. An OSINT analysis conducted by ASTRA has also confirmed the blaze.
This is the second oil depot in the settlement to be targeted within the past week.
During the night of July 13, residents of the Stavropol region reported hearing explosions and seeing a fire. The governor later said that the blaze had broken out “on the territory of an industrial zone in the Vyazniki settlement of the Shpakovsky district.”
Local residents noted that the area’s oil depot had once again been targeted.
According to ASTRA, an OSINT analysis of footage recorded by eyewitnesses confirms those reports. The channel said the burning facility is an oil depot located near the railway line in the Vyazniki settlement. The footage was filmed in the city of Stavropol.
The attack marks the second strike on an oil depot in the settlement within the past week. Another oil depot located approximately 1.2 kilometres away was targeted by Ukrainian drones on the night of July 9. That facility belongs to Rosneft-Stavropolye JSC.
