ASTRA: Russian strike destroys entire entrance of multi-storey building in Kharkiv VIDEO

Russian forces attacked a multi-storey residential building in Kharkiv, completely destroying one entrance, while the number of people injured in the attack has risen to 22, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said, as reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel.

“The city of Kharkiv was hit in two districts of the city of Kharkiv. These are the Saltivskyi and Kyivskyi districts. As for the Saltivskyi district, a nine-storey apartment building was hit. Preliminary, it was either a ‘Banderol’ or a guided aerial bomb (KAB) — this is currently being clarified. At present, one entrance of this building has been completely destroyed.

As for those injured, there are currently 12 people who sought medical assistance, including five children. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine, our municipal services are currently working there, clearing the rubble on the second floor. Preliminary, there are no people there, but we are not sure about this, and rescue operations are continuing.

In the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, there was a hit near a private residential area. Ten private houses were damaged, but fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities there,” the mayor said, adding that 10 multi-storey buildings were damaged in the Saltivskyi district.

Later, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that 16 people had been injured, including eight children. The figure was subsequently updated to 22.
