At least 19 killed in fatal minibus-lorry collision in Egypt’s Monofeya province
A devastating road accident in Egypt has claimed the lives of at least 19 people after a minibus collided with a lorry.
The crash occurred in the northern governorate of Monofeya, located northwest of Cairo, Caliber.Az reports, citing Egyptian media.

According to initial reports, two individuals were also injured in the incident and have since been transferred to nearby hospitals, where they are receiving the necessary medical care.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims, and it remains unclear whether any foreign nationals or tourists were among the dead or injured.
Emergency services responded swiftly to the scene, and an investigation into the cause of the collision has been launched.
