AZAL, Turkish Airlines set to strengthen cooperation
AZAL's first vice-president Samir Rzayev and the chairman of the board and executive committee of Turkish Airlines Ahmet Bolat discussed strengthening of cooperation in the sphere of civil aviation and further development of air communications between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
The press service of AZAL told Caliber.Az that the meeting was held on the fields of the 79th Annual General Meeting of IATA in Istanbul.
Cooperation issues between national airlines of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as opportunities to expand the route network between the two brotherly countries were discussed during the meeting.
According to Samir Rzayev, Türkiye is one of Azerbaijan's key partners in the aviation sector, and cooperation between airlines is of great importance for both countries.
In turn, Ahmet Bolat expressed confidence that successful partnership will contribute to strengthening tourism, economic and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
Both sides confirmed their readiness for further strengthening of partnership relations and joint development of projects in the field of civil aviation, including the exchange of experience.
