Azerbaijan, Belarus hail great prospects for intensifying ties
The delegation headed by Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev has paid a visit to Minsk, Belarus to participate in the meeting of the Coordination Council of Prosecutors General of the CIS member states.
A bilateral meeting was held with representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office of Belarus on the first day of the visit, the Prosecutor General's Office told Report.
While expressing gratitude to his Belarusian colleague Andrei Shved for hospitality, Aliyev noted that friendship and cooperation between the countries are successfully developing in many spheres thanks to the joint efforts and political will of the presidents of the two countries.
Stating that Belarus attaches special importance to strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan in the legal sphere, Shved noted the great prospects for intensifying relations between the prosecutor's offices of the two countries, stressed the common interest in further expanding mutually beneficial ties.
Azerbaijani Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Belarus Ulvi Bakhshaliyev also attended the meeting.
