Azerbaijan deports over 1,300 foreigners over migration violations

Over the first eight months of 2025, a total of 1,309 foreigners were expelled from Azerbaijan for violations of migration laws, according to The State Migration Service (SMS). 

These individuals were removed from Azerbaijan by administrative order, with their entry into the country restricted for a period determined by law, Caliber.Az reports via local media. 

In total, the SMS issued 14,934 administrative decisions related to migration violations during this period.

Back in July, the migration service reported that 1,007 foreigners who violated the country’s migration laws, have been deported in the first six months of 2025.
