Azerbaijan and Israel are set to deepen economic ties through potential mutual business missions, following a meeting between the Executive Director of Azerbaijan’s Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Yusif Abdullayev, and Israel’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Ronen Kraus.
According to AZPROMO, Abdullayev briefed the ambassador on the agency’s activities and the current state of trade and economic relations between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports.
Ambassador Kraus highlighted a recent increase in bilateral trade, saying it provides a favourable environment to expand economic cooperation and launch new business initiatives.
The discussions also focused on identifying potential areas for collaboration and organising reciprocal business visits.
Opportunities for partnership in agriculture, information technology, water management, and innovation were explored.
Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening private sector links, promoting joint investments, and supporting the organisation of business missions to bolster economic cooperation.
