Azerbaijan promotes year-round tourism in Russia with major roadshow Photo
The Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau hosted a series of promotional events in Russia from March 16 to 18, aiming to strengthen Azerbaijan’s visibility as a global travel destination.
According to the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan, the events were held in Moscow and St Petersburg and brought together more than 240 representatives from Russian travel companies and media outlets, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
A delegation of 13 Azerbaijani tourism industry representatives participated, including the Shahdag Tourism Center and Azerbaijan Airlines. The presentations highlighted Azerbaijan’s appeal as a year-round destination, showcasing opportunities in wellness tourism, gastronomy, cultural experiences, and business travel.
The programme also featured business-to-business (B2B) meetings designed to foster partnerships between Azerbaijani and Russian tourism stakeholders.
The Moscow event was attended by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Russia, Rahman Mustafayev.
