Azerbaijan promoting tourism with direct flights, national cuisine in Spain PHOTO

Azerbaijan's tourism potential is being showcased at the FITUR exhibition in Spain's capital Madrid.

Alongside the State Tourism Agency, Azerbaijan is represented by the Tourism Board and eight local partners, the Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency told Caliber.Az.

The exhibition provides information about Azerbaijan's districts, national cuisine, and direct flight routes. Visitors can explore Azerbaijan’s tourism products, sample traditional sweets, and taste local wine. The exhibition, which will run until January 26, will also feature B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Customer) meetings.

FITUR is one of the biggest global platforms for leading travel trade professionals for inbound and outbound markets. FITUR is a five-day event, the first three days are for business and professionals. The last two days are for the public. This important event in the travel sector calendar is celebrated each January at IFEMA Exhibition Centre.
