Azerbaijan's economic development priorities focus on environmental protection, green finance Deputy minister says
At the Industrial Safety Summit in Baku, Vugar Karimov, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, outlined the core priorities within Azerbaijan’s economic development concept, emphasizing the significance of environmental protection, ecological sustainability, and green finance initiatives.
Karimov highlighted that the implementation of modern management tools within industrial enterprises is crucial for enhancing environmental responsibility, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
He pointed out the vital role of green finance in these efforts, noting that projects in this sector help reduce production costs, optimize resource use, and ensure environmental safety.
According to Karimov, these initiatives not only lay the foundation for ongoing socio-economic reforms but also contribute to the formation of an innovative economy, bolstering Azerbaijan's standing in international rankings.
The deputy minister further emphasized that effective collaboration between the state and public sectors, alongside the active exchange of information, experiences, and ideas, is essential for the country's socio-economic advancement.
