Azerbaijan seizes narcotics in truck en route from Iran to Russia PHOTO

Officers of the Astara Customs Department have seized a large quantity of marijuana from illegal circulation, the State Customs Committee told Caliber.Az.

During an inspection at the Astara customs post of a truck transporting lettuce leaves from Iran to Russia in transit through Azerbaijan, authorities discovered and confiscated 30 kilograms and 599 grams of marijuana.

An investigation into the case is currently underway.
