Azerbaijan, Sweden discuss wind energy cooperation in Caspian Sea
Azerbaijan and Sweden have discussed collaboration on wind energy projects in the Caspian Sea.
The prospects for cooperation in this area were explored during a meeting between Director of the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency under Energy Ministry Javid Abdullayev and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Sweden to Azerbaijan Tobias Lorentzson, Caliber.Az reports.
Representatives from the Swedish Emtunga company also participated in the meeting. During the discussions, the participants presented information on the wind energy potential in the Caspian Sea and onshore, as well as Azerbaijan's implemented renewable energy projects.
They also talked about the creation of international "green" energy corridors and exchanged views on developments in the energy sector and experience related to energy transition.
