Azerbaijan, Türkiye discuss cooperation on military education PHOTO

Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with a delegation headed by Turkish National Defence University Rector Professor Erhan Afyoncu on May 8.

During the meeting Zakir Hasanov noted a high level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the field of military education, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

Erhan Afyoncu, in turn, thanked for the hospitality and emphasised the importance of cooperation between the two countries in the field of military education, as well as in other areas.

Then the Turkish delegation met with First Deputy Defence Minister, Chief of General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev.

At the meeting, it was noted that the mutual exchange of experience with the National Defence University of Türkiye positively affects the formation of professional personnel in the Azerbaijani army.
