08 July 2025 18:40

A Pakistani parliamentary delegation led by Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly, visited the "ASAN Khidmet" center in Baku to familiarise themselves with Azerbaijan’s public service delivery model.

The delegation was received by Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Salmanov, Caliber.Az reports via Azertag.

During the visit, Salmanov delivered a comprehensive presentation on the ASAN Khidmet centres, which were established under the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, and highlighted the agency's ongoing projects in social innovation.

He noted that ASAN has become a globally recognised brand, having been exported to more than 30 countries, and stressed the agency’s active role in promoting its service model internationally. Salmanov also pointed to ongoing cooperation efforts aimed at implementing the ASAN model in Pakistan.

The Pakistani officials praised the ASAN initiative, describing it as a significant contribution to improving public access to services and commending President Aliyev’s leadership in its development.

During the visit, the delegation was also introduced to the operations of the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center, “Mobile ASAN Khidmet,” and the "ABAD" Public Legal Entity.
