Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Georgia create joint parliamentary assembly
Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament Nikoloz Samkharadze has said that joint Azerbaijan-Turkiye-Georgia Parliamentary Assembly is being created.
He said that the decision was made in a tripartite meeting in Baku, according to Report.
“We have come to an important decision to join our efforts on creating the Georgia-Turkiye-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Assembly. This will bring inter-parliamentary relations to a qualitatively new level. The Assembly will be created in a format of cooperation between parliamentary committees on foreign relations [of the three states], but our [traditional] format will keep operating simultaneously.”
Samkharadze said that the next annual meeting of the heads of foreign relations committees is scheduled for next spring in Georgia.
