Azerbaijani land forces conduct live-fire artillery drills under realistic combat conditions Photo

Artillery units of Azerbaijan’s Land Forces have carried out live-fire exercises as part of the country's 2025 training programme, the defence ministry said.

The drills, conducted under conditions closely simulating real combat, involved both predetermined and spontaneous targets representing a notional enemy, Caliber.Az reports, citing Defence Ministry.

According to the ministry, all targets were effectively neutralised through precise artillery fire.

The primary aim of the exercises was to enhance the operational proficiency of military personnel, strengthen command and control capabilities among officers, and improve coordination across units.
