To recap, the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan recently conducted a joint Computer-Assisted Command-Staff Exercise, named Maharat-2024 (Mastery), at the War Games Center of the Azerbaijani Military Administration Institute. The exercise, held in line with the Bilateral Cooperation Plan for 2024 signed between the Defence Ministries of both countries, aimed to strengthen military ties and enhance operational readiness.
During the event, participants were briefed on duty analysis and received warning orders based on the exercise scenario. The preparation of activities was also underway to improve coordination and strategic planning.
The primary objective of the exercise was to improve the interoperability of the Azerbaijani and Uzbek armies' operational units, thereby boosting their combat capabilities. The exercise, which began earlier in the week, concluded on October 6.
