Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan eye boosting allied relations
Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have discussed bilateral cooperation and ways to further strengthen their strategic partnership and allied relations, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kazakhstan Alimirzamin Askerov said.
Askerov made the remarks following a meeting with Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev, according to a post on X, Caliber.Az reports.

“It was an honor to meet with H.E. Mr. Yermek Kosherbayev, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan,” he wrote.
The two officials discussed current areas of bilateral cooperation and prospects for expanding ties between the two countries.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev appointed Askerov as ambassador to Kazakhstan on July 28, replacing Aghalar Atamoghlanov. Askerov previously served as Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Tajikistan.
