Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan strengthen educational ties PHOTO
As part of the QS Eurasia Forum 2025 in Tashkent, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev met with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Preschool and General Education Ezokhon Karimova to strengthen educational ties between the two countries.
During the meeting, the current state and directions of cooperation in preschool and general education were discussed, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Science and Education.

The parties emphasised the importance of expanding experience and information exchange, implementing joint projects, and developing cooperation to modernise the preschool and general education system.

Emin Amrullayev also met with First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Uzbekistan Sardor Rajabov. The discussion focused on the current state of and prospects for cooperation in science, higher education, and innovation between the two countries.
A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Science and Education and the Agency for Innovative Development under Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, aiming to expand bilateral cooperation .
