Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan strengthen space ties with new MoU on education, research
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan Azercosmos under Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and Stars International University of Uzbekistan.
The MoU focuses on increasing collaboration in the fields of education, scientific research, and space development. The agreement, aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two nations, was officially announced during the Space Technology Conference (STC) in Baku, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
One of the key components of the agreement is the exchange of expertise and knowledge in the space sector. The agreement also outlines opportunities for fostering broader economic, industrial, scientific, technical, and technological cooperation, particularly in the ICT sector.
The signing ceremony was held as part of the STC, a significant event organized by Azercosmos, where numerous agreements were reached. During the conference, Azercosmos also signed approximately 10 other MoUs with international partners, underlining the agency’s efforts to bolster global cooperation in the space and technology sectors.
