Azerbaijani ambassador to UK condemns provocation of radicals in London London remains silent

Azerbaijani Ambassador to the United Kingdom Elin Suleymanov has adamantly criticized the actions of London-based religious radicals that attacked the Azerbaijani embassy on August 4.

“The attack on Azerbaijani embassy in the UK by London-based radicals is unacceptable & barbaric. It directly undermined the principle of diplomatic premises' inviolability. I am currently in Baku and grateful to see that our colleagues are safe in spite of the threat to their safety and security,” Suleymanov wrote on Twitter, according to Caliber.Az.

Meanwhile, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office has not yet commented on the incident at the embassy of Azerbaijan.
