Service and combat activity is organised at a high level in Azerbaijani army units deployed in mountainous areas with difficult terrain and harsh climate.

Engineering units take necessary measures to maintain supply routes and communications in working condition, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

For the safety of personnel and convoys, traffic is restricted, and snow removal from supply routes is carried out in stages.

Engineering support measures continue in cooperation with other government agencies, the ministry added.
