SHOT: Russian cyberattack targets Ukraine’s Starlink authorisation service PHOTO
17 February 2026 09:37
Russian hackers have infiltrated Ukraine’s government service “Diia,” which Ukrainian military personnel use to authorise Starlink devices, while civilians use it for online marriages.
According to the SHOT Telegram channel, hackers from the group PalachPro gained access to the service’s admin panel, where service reviews and quality ratings are collected, citizen feedback is analysed, and questions or complaints can be addressed, Caliber.Az reports.
The hackers also obtained the list of the platform’s creators and administrators.
In 2024, Diia was a finalist for the International Customer Centricity World Awards. Reports from last fall indicated that 23 million Ukrainians use the service.
