Azerbaijani deputy FM, Iranian ambassador discuss bilateral ties

Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov met with Iran’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilou, to discuss the current state of relations between the two neighbouring countries.

Durign the discussion, the sides also eyed recent regional and international developments, Caliber.Az reports per local media. 

The sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Ambassador Demirchilou noted that relations between Iran and Azerbaijan continue to grow on the basis of friendship and brotherhood. Both officials stressed the importance of further deepening bilateral ties and maintaining constructive dialogue.
