Azerbaijan, China discuss cooperation on humanitarian demining PHOTO

The officials exchanged views on the importance of international cooperation in humanitarian demining and prospects for further developing bilateral ties in the field, Caliber.Az reports per ANAMA.

Suleymanov expressed Azerbaijan’s appreciation for China’s financial and technical assistance in demining areas that Baku says were liberated from occupation.

Ambassador Lu Mei said China’s support for Azerbaijan’s demining efforts represents an important example of humanitarian cooperation and solidarity between the two countries.

The two sides also discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation as Azerbaijan continues efforts to clear landmines and unexploded ordnance from affected areas.
