Azerbaijani energy minister heading for China to attend Belt & Road forum

Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov is visiting China at the invitation of Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China Zheng Shanjie.

The minister will take part in a high-level meeting within the framework of the 3rd Forum of International Cooperation Belt and Road, scheduled for October 18 in Beijing, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy.

As part of the event, it is planned that the minister will speak on the topic “Strengthening infrastructure, as well as coordinating technologies, standards, rules and operations for mutually beneficial development” and hold bilateral meetings.
