Azerbaijani experts inspect cultural, historical, religious monuments in liberated lands PHOTO

A group of Azerbaijani experts visited liberated Jabrayil, Zangilan districts and Dashalti village near Shusha city on June 16-17.

A regular meeting of the working group on science, education and culture of the Interdepartmental Centre of the Coordination Headquarters was held in Zangilan District's Aghali village, according to Report.

As part of the visit, members of the working group examined the Khudafarin bridges, Sultan Allahverdi's bathhouse in Jabrayil District and the mosque in Dashkasan village. During the inspection, as well as discussions in Shusha, the opinions of scientists-specialists on the protection, restoration and development of monuments were heard, and appropriate instructions were given to the relevant structures.

While inspecting Dashalti village territory, representatives of the State Tourism Agency informed the working group's members that the village is planned to be used as a tourism venue in the future.

In Zangilan District, the working group examined the Octagonal tomb of the 14th century in Mammadbaki village, the mosque of the 19th century in Malatkeshin village and one of the most valuable monuments of medieval architecture of Azerbaijan - "Shahri Sharifan".

In addition, the members of the working group checked the kindergarten and school built in Zangilan's Aghali village and were also informed about the Smart Village and the work done under the project.

In Aghali, the working group held meetings, at which the results of the inspection of cultural, historical and religious monuments were discussed, and the upcoming and relevant tasks were identified.

The Coordinating Headquarters set up under Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's order on November 24, 2020, is led by Samir Nuriyev, head of the Presidential Administration.
