Azerbaijan has launched another phase of its “Great Return” programme, relocating families to the city of Aghdam.
As part of the latest resettlement phase, 110 families comprising 417 individuals have been moved to the city, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The relocated residents expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for state support provided during the process. They also thanked the Azerbaijani Army and service members who participated in the military operations that led to the liberation of the territories, and prayed for the souls of those killed in action.
The families had previously been living temporarily in various regions of the country, including hostels, sanatoriums and administrative buildings, before being resettled to Aghdam city.
