Azerbaijan’s Khojavand to welcome more than 100 returning IDPs

Azerbaijan's Khojavand city is set to welcome more than 100 returning residents as part of the country's ongoing resettlement programme for internally displaced persons (IDPs).

20 families comprising 81 people are returning to the city of Khojavand, while two families (nine people) are relocating to the settlement of Girmizi Bazar in Khojavand district, and five families (17 people) are returning to Khojavand village, Caliber.Az reports.

The returning residents expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive care and support provided by the state.

The return of former residents to Azerbaijan's territories liberated from occupation is continuing in line with instructions from President Ilham Aliyev.
