Turkish journalists get first-hand look at Azerbaijan's Aghdam Industrial Park PHOTO
Representatives of Turkish media outlets visited Azerbaijan's Aghdam Industrial Park, where they were introduced to the production processes at the enterprises operating within the park.
The visitors were informed that 30 companies have been granted resident status in the industrial park, with total planned investments of around 300 million manats (approximately $176.5 million), while four businesses have been registered as non-resident participants, the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan told Caliber.Az.
To date, entrepreneurs have invested more than 177 million manats (approximately $104.1 million) in the Aghdam Industrial Park, creating 1,230 permanent jobs. Currently, 12 enterprises are operating in the park, while construction of another 12 facilities is underway. Design work is also in progress for 10 additional projects.
Officials noted that the park manufactures construction materials, metal products, electrical distribution equipment, roofing and façade systems, wallpaper and other industrial goods.
During the first six months of 2026, resident companies sold products worth 976 million manats (around $574.1 million), including 42 million manats (around $24.7 million) in exports.
