Azerbaijan reports clearing over 8,000 hectares in July demining drive
Azerbaijan's National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) cleared 8,012.7 hectares of land of mines and unexploded ordnance across the country's liberated territories in July, according to the agency's latest monthly demining report.
Demining teams operating in July across the districts of Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, Gazakh, and Zangilan, as well as the city of Khankendi, detected and neutralised 614 anti-personnel mines, 174 anti-tank mines, and 2,106 pieces of unexploded ordnance, according to Caliber.Az.
