Azerbaijan welcomes diaspora youth from 64 countries to liberated territories

The opening ceremony of the 7th Diaspora Youth Summer Camp, organized by Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, began on August 2.

Held under the slogan "Reviving Cities," the camp will take place from August 2 to 8 in the East Zangezur region, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

More than 120 young participants from 64 countries are taking part in the event. The program includes visits to historical and cultural landmarks in East Zangezur and Garabagh, as well as meetings with the families of martyrs, war veterans, government officials, and experts.

Participants will also attend panel discussions and seminars, visit territories liberated from occupation, take part in language courses, intellectual competitions, and training sessions.

Previous editions of the Diaspora Youth Summer Camp were held in Shaki, Shamakhi, Shusha, Nakhchivan, Lachin, and Khankendi, bringing together more than 700 young people from 84 countries.
