Azerbaijan clears 1,700 hectares of mines across liberated territories PHOTO

Azerbaijan’s National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has cleared 1,700.4 hectares of land from mines and unexploded ordnance in liberated lands, according to the agency’s latest weekly report.
Thus, between August 10 and 16, demining teams operating across several districts and the city of Khankendi neutralised 107 anti-personnel mines, 25 anti-tank mines and 614 pieces of unexploded ordnance, Caliber.Az reports.
The operations were carried out in the Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, Gazakh and Zangilan districts, as well as in Khankandi.
