Azerbaijani MFA congratulates Italy on National Day
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan congratulated Italy on the National Day.
The congratulations were published on the Foreign Ministry's Twitter page, Caliber.Az reports.
"On the occasion of the National Day of #Italy, we extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to the government and people of Italy! Looking forward to the further development of our bilateral cooperation! Buona Festa della Repubblica!" the tweet reads.

Italy recognized the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on January 1, 1992. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on May 8, 1992.
The Italian Embassy in Azerbaijan was established in March 1997, and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Italy was opened in December 2003.
Italy is the largest trading partner and largest export point of our country.
The product-based structure of the foreign trade turnover of the two countries is dominated by exports of crude oil and oil products to Italy.
The structure of imports includes machine-building products, special mechanical devices and machines, machine tools, spare parts, as well as medicines, transformers, construction materials, furniture, food and knitwear.
