Azerbaijani president approves changes to state geological programme

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved significant changes to the State Programme for the Geological Study of the Earth's Subsoil and the Effective Use of the Mineral Raw Materials Base for 2020-2024.

The changes include the integration of geological data for the East Zangezur economic region into the Geographic Information System (GIS), Caliber.Az reports.

The Cabinet of Ministers has been assigned the responsibility of addressing any issues that arise from the updated document.
