Two Azerbaijani nationals killed in vessel attack in Sea of Azov identified

The identities of two Azerbaijani citizens killed in a drone attack on a vessel in the Sea of Azov have been established.

The victims were Gismet Aliyev and Fuad Orujov, who died after a drone struck a vessel sailing under the flag of Palau, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Aliyev served as the vessel’s chief engineer, while Orujov was its captain.

The condition of those injured in the attack is reported to be stable.

They are currently receiving treatment in the surgery and trauma departments of the Central City Hospital in Yeysk, Russia.
