Bahrain’s public prosecutor ordered the detention of several individuals suspected of collaborating with Iranian intelligence services and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reports.
The head of the Terrorism Prosecution stated that the office was notified by national intelligence that the suspects were identified during monitoring of individuals “loyal to terrorist organisations, groups, and structures hostile to the country.”

The suspects allegedly received instructions from the Iranian entities to surveil key sites in Bahrain, collect information, and transmit it to Iran to plan attacks and document the aftermath of any assaults.
