Belarus threatens West with reciprocal actions in case of property confiscation
Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko has said that Belarus intends to harshly respond in case of confiscation of Belarusian property in the West.
“A rather big list of companies, namely, legal entities-residents of Belarus, in which residents from unfriendly countries have shares, has been determined. We have imposed a ban on the alienation of these shares. If you want to work in Belarus, you may work, there will be no obstacles, but if you are going to leave everything here, run away and take money away, you will fail. As long as we are treated like this, we will take the same measures here,” the prime minister said in an interview with the Belarus-1 TV channel, Interfax reports.
He added that so far Belarusian property is not directly confiscated in the West yet, and Minsk is not taking any measures either.
